c. 1910 flat-back Mandolin
This is a transitional instrument, from the early 20th century, probably from
Chicago. At this point the bowl-back mandolins were starting to be replaced
by flat-backed models. The top is still the same as was found
on the earlier bowl-backs.Visit my home page at www.JayKeller.com
